A graceful, retired lady: The Royal Yacht Britannia at Leith

I do recommend you take a trip to visit the Royal Yacht Britannia, now moored permanently at the Ocean Terminal, Leith, on the Firth of Forth. Walking through the magnificent state rooms, you quickly get a sense of the history of our nation.

At the gigantic, elegant dining table have sat such people as Presidents Eisenhower, Reagan and Clinton, as well as each British Prime Minister since 1953.

More than this, it is a visible part of our Queen's life since she was crowned. It is part of the living history of the British monarchy at work and play, and as such it is well worth seeing.
